It is our mission to help society advance towards the sustainable production of goods.
We believe we can optimize natural resource utilisation by developing vision sensors for industrial inspection that help manufacturers eliminate waste, produce long-lasting products, and improve material recycling.
Chromodynamics develops high-speed, real-time snapshot spectral imaging systems for a wide range of applications. Our current focus is on providing imaging solutions for industrial inspection, in particular in food sorting and pharmaceutical packaging. Our main office is located on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, right in the heart of the most important region in the Netherlands for high-tech manufacturing, and home to companies like ASML, NXP, and Philips: the Brainport region. Our young company is growing rapidly and on an ambitious path leading to a significant positive societal impact.
Chromodynamics was founded in early 2019 by Dr. Wouter Vijvers as a spin-out of the Dutch Institute For Fundamental Energy Research (DIFFER) based on the conviction that it would be able to contribute to solving some of the world’s greatest challenges using innovative vision systems. In the summer of 2019, it was recognised as one of the most promising startups in the Brainport region, as the winner of a Gerard and Anton Award. At the start of 2020, Caspar Pronk joined as a co-founder and took on the role of Chief Commercial Officer.
