Chromodynamics was elected to be one of the top-3 most promising startups of the Brainport Region by a jury of industry professionals. Out of 27 submitted business plans, nine companies were selected to participate in the Grande Finale during the “Get Started!” event organised by kickoffEHV on April 3rd, 2019. Chromodynamics was represented by CEO Wouter Vijvers.

After a short pitch, it was announced that Chromodynamics had made it to the final three (despite a technical glitch in the presentation), along with Tim Wilschut of Ratio and Jochem Manders of Jakx. The finalists spent 30 minutes in speed dates with the jury members and were then called back on stage to answer two questions about their business plans. After the jury deliberated on their performances, Ratio (https://ratio-case.nl) was announced as the overall winner of the Golden Lightbulb Challenge 2019, taking home a cheque for 10.000 euros. Chromodynamics finished as the runner-up, resulting in 5000 euros in prize money.
